WHAT TO EXPECT AT MY CLASSES

Most classes will start at 10 am and end around 3 pm – come early to reserve a seat, have a coffee, and look at samples, tools and materials I usually bring to all my classes.

I prefer a class with at least 5 students. The maximum number for students per class is 9 (rare it’s up to 12). I will be in touch a few weeks prior to class if I do not have the required number of students to discuss perhaps rescheduling the class.

What to wear – Please dress for the weather and in layers, but be ready to get your hands wet up to elbows, so short sleeves shirt as a first layer should be a good idea. Because, we will be working with very fine fibers, simple cotton tops are preferred to avoid statics and tanging.

Be ready to stand up – laying wool for wet felting and felting process itself may require standing up position for some time, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and come rested. If you have any health issues related to your back, arms or hands, please consult with me before signing up for the class.

If you are a very beginner – I would suggest you to watch my “Introduction to Felting” videos that are published on my YouTube Channel “Felting with Marikah”

Class Fee: All fees per class depend on material costs for that class and a class length. All materials, supplies are included in the price, unless otherwise stated in the class description.

Payment and cancelation: I do not require a deposit, but I do rely on you to keep me informed ahead of time if you won’t be able to participate, so I can take another student instead. You can pay online via PayPal system here below, or by a check or cash right at the classroom.
